God helps when I feel helpless

There's going to be a BBQ event this Friday for a group of the college students. So, to identify that the people at the event have paid for the ticket, we thought of giving them these really nice shaped wristbands (Googly Bands). Hence, I was asked to scout for prices of these bands at the pyramid since I live on-campus.

Today, I went there during my one-hour break. Knew that I had to be fast in order to get back on time for class. First place that came to my mind to look in was Asian Avenue, since they sell lots of accessories there.   Walked the whole place but couldn't find those bands, and other wristbands were expensive, especially when we need to buy them in quite a large amount. I felt hopeless after that. Didn't know where else to look.  Went into another accessories shop but to no avail. I just prayed a silent prayer to find those bands in pyramid. A thought to look in 'Toys R Us' came to my mind. How weird! Why would anyone look for wristbands (teenager stuff) in a toy store?! Anyway, it did make some sense after that, because those bands might work as toys! But, the problem was, I was running out of time and I had no idea how to get to the store in the mega shopping mall. Just walked around and the next thing I saw was that very store! Thank God, like seriously. However, even after finding the store, I had doubts whether I would find the bands there. Approaching the store, my heart almost sank when I saw how huge the store was! How was I supposed to find something so small among all the mega boxes of toys? Just prayed a silent prayer again. 

It was about 10 minutes till class starts! Excluding the walking time back to college through the Canopy Walk, I had only approximately 5 minutes. 

But I tell you, God is truly gracious. The VERY FIRST THING I saw when I got into the store, was not the other toys, in fact I recall none of the toys there. But THOSE BANDS! Hallelujah! I felt so happy to have found them at last! My legs were already aching from walking all over at high speed then. I was just like, Oh My God! Thank You God. Not to mention how cheap it was! AND it's on Buy 1 Free 1 offer for members! Ah, the member part isn't a problem. It's free for those 18 and above. I just need to get a friend. :) This is a really good deal!

Super happy to have found the exact thing I wanted! I wasn't expecting to find the exact wiggly bands at all! In fact, I was just expecting to find normal wristbands in packs. Or some really cheap wristbands. Isn't this truly a testimony! Thank God. And it's evidently God's help because the very first thing I saw was what I wanted! I just know that He will lead me when I call upon Him. Glory to God. :)
